Job Description:


Site Manager required by leading Engineering Consulting firm for the Medupi Cabling project on a 3 year contract.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience
BSc Engineering / B Tech / NHD(T4) Electrical or relevant qualification
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in construction activities
Cable installation management and cable racking experience is an advantage
Must be computer literate (Ms Office, Ms Project)
Power station experience is an added advantage
Drivers license and own transport is essential

This junior- to mid-level position will make the perfect fit for someone who’s passionate about local books, on the one hand, and developments in social media and the digital frontier, on the other. The successful applicant will have a solid general knowledge of English literature (and particularly its South African branch), excellent language skills, and basic technical abilities related to social media, blogging and website design, including basic HTML and basic knowledge of image manipulation programmes like Adobe Photoshop or GIMP. A strong personal presence on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google+) will be a plus.

The Eastern Cape Department of Roads and Public Works, through the ambit of Expanded Public Works Programme,
intends to contract 500 young people (aged 18 – 35 years) to be part of the National Youth Service implementation programme for a period of 18 moths. Selected youths will be expected to attend a training programme on maintenance of buildings and roads and capturing of data on the Amathuba portal and on completion of the programme, they will maintain government buildings such as schools, clinics and offices.
Requirements:
